House Rules of the dormitory

At the dormitory and at the Green Academy in general, we respect each other. This means that:

  • We are spacious and inclusive.

  • We speak kindly to each other

  • We respect others' boundaries

  • We take care of the school and each other

  • We actively and positively contribute to life at the dormitory

When you move into the dormitory, you also enter into a contract with us to follow the house rules below. We expect you to have read through them.

How do I receive my room upon arrival?

  • You will receive the room cleaned and intact. Wear and tear may occur depending on the age of the room.

  • It is your responsibility to report any defects and deficiencies to the dormitory leader via email: shj@ju.dk upon arrival. This way, you avoid being held responsible for deficiencies and damaged inventory upon departure. If something breaks during your stay, contact the dormitory leader via email as well.

  • We will make sure that towels, pillow, duvet and bedding is ready in your room, when you arrive.

What should I know about living in my room?

  • Your room and bathroom should always be tidy. You are responsible for the daily cleaning of your room.

  • Posters and similar items are not allowed to be hung on walls. Please use the pin board.

  • It is your responsibility to keep the door locked to prevent theft and unauthorized entry into the room.
  • If you forget your key, you can borrow key from the Administration for a deposit of 200 kr. However, the original key must be returned upon departure.
